Life happens. We get it. Here is how cancellations work depending on what you've booked:
Surf Trips – cancellations
Open Surf – cancellations
Discovery Sessions + 1-on-1 Learn to Surf – cancellations
Surf Social – cancellations
Surf Social bookings are non-refundable, but you can reschedule to the next event for free if you give us at least 24 hours' notice.
And if something comes up and you need a new date, here’s how rescheduling works depending on your booking:
Surf Trips – rescheduling
Open Surf – rescheduling
Discovery Sessions & 1-on-1 Learn to Surf – rescheduling
Surf Social – rescheduling
You can reschedule to the next event for free if you give us at least 24 hours' notice. Less than 24 hours out, we won't be able to reschedule it.
We always recommend booking in advance. Sessions fill up fast, especially on weekends and holidays, and booking ahead gives you the best chance of locking in the experience, date, and time you want.
It also helps our team prep for your visit to ensure everything runs the way it should from the moment you arrive.
One thing to keep in mind: Surf Trip Plus bookings take over the full basin, so on days when one is scheduled, you might see fewer online slots available than usual.
Please note that we do not have any hidden availability; everything you see on the website is what is available. If you're not seeing sessions, it's because they're fully booked or not scheduled that day.
When are new availability dates released?
We release new availabilities every Friday.
Surf Trips open up 3 months in advance, while Open Surf, Discovery Sessions, and 1-on-1 Learn to Surf slots are released 2 months out.
After 5 December, Surf Trips will open up 5 months in advance, while Open Surf, Discovery Sessions, and 1-on-1 Learn to Surf slots will be released 3 months out.
When you book online, you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Walk-ins can also pay cash at the Surf Club.

You can rent sunbeds by the pool at the Surf Club for AED 250, which gets you access to the pool, the Surf Club facilities (lockers, showers, changing rooms), and an AED 200 food and beverage package to use at Nalu Restaurant the same day.
You can enter the Surf Club if you've booked a surf experience or rented a sunbed.
If you're coming along with someone who's surfing, you're welcome to use the facilities too at no extra cost.
If you have a reservation at Nalu Restaurant, just check in with the hostesses in the lobby, and they'll take you to your table. Otherwise, entry is managed on a case-by-case basis by our management team.
The basin is roughly 75,000 square metres (690 metres long by 150 metres wide), or about the size of 10 and a half football fields.
It's up to 3 metres deep and holds around 80 million litres of saltwater. The walls are made of 225 mm-thick waterproof concrete, and it takes about 2 weeks to fill.
The water temperature depends on the season. In winter, the water sits around 21°C (70°F). It's comfortable, but you might want a wetsuit – we provide them if you need one.
In summer, the basin can heat up to around 30°C (86°F), so make sure you're wearing sun protection and drink plenty of water.
The Surf Club is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The sunbeds and pool area are available daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Yes, you're welcome to film or take photos of your surf from the viewing areas around the basin. All sessions on the Main Wave are also recorded on video.
