Everything happening at the pool between now and September
Summer in Abu Dhabi has a bit of a reputation, and the reputation is mostly accurate. When the forecast hits high 40s and the air conditioning is running on fumes, most people end up surrendering to a pool somewhere. We just happen to think ours is the best one in the country.
We're closing down in July and August to give the place a bit of TLC before the next season, but there's plenty happening between now and then, and a whole lot more lined up for when we open the doors again in September.
45-minutes summer sessions
Open Surf moves to 45 minutes through June and September, with three surfers in the lineup instead of four. Beginners, intermediates, and advanced surfers all run on the new schedule, and because it's a shorter session, you'll pay less for it.
Open Surf Beginner is AED 1,800, and Intermediate and Advanced are AED 2,500.
Surf more, pay less
If you're planning to be around for a decent chunk of summer, it's worth looking at the bundles, because the per-session price drops the more you book at once.
Three Beginner sessions come in at AED 4,000, three Intermediate or Advanced sessions at AED 6,000, and ten Intermediate or Advanced sessions cost AED 18,000. They're valid across June and September, and you can use them however you want.
Surf Social is back
We've locked in four more Surf Social events on 23 May, 6 June, and 13 June. What started as an experiment a few months ago has morphed into people's favorite weekend hangs with plenty of waves, good food, a playlist that holds its own, and an afternoon that goes the way good Saturdays are supposed to go.
The (swimming) pool is free all summer
The Surf Club pool is open for anyone through June and September, so you don't need to book a surf session to come and use it. Book a sun lounger online, swim, grab something at Nalu, and watch the waves doing their thing from the deck.
First time surfing?
Discovery Surf Sessions run at AED 150 this summer. It's 45 minutes on our beginner wave with a guide who'll walk you through the basics in and out of the water. We also cover all the gear and opened up more slots on the calendar, so if surfing has been sitting on your list for a while, now's a pretty good time to cross it off.
Surf Trips on a summer schedule
Surf Trips also move to a summer schedule through June and September, running at half the time and half the price. You get a full run of the place for your session, the same six-surfer lineup, and the kind of crew that doesn't let a bit of heat get between them and a private booking of the pool.
